At Radcliffe on Trent Infant and Nursery School we believe firmly in the partnership between home and school. We believe your child’s education is a shared responsibility and we try hard to keep parents and carers informed and involved. The school is also participating in the Leading Parent Partnership award in order to develop effective working partnerships with our parents and carers.
Over the course of the year there will be a number of opportunities for parents to visit the school; including parents’ information evenings (phonics & reading, numeracy, SATS, transition etc.), open afternoons, special assemblies, school productions, outdoor summer concert and many other events in the school calendar. We also organise a grandparents’ open afternoon every year, and a special strawberry tea afternoon for parent helpers. Click here to look at our school calendar and check for upcoming events.
We welcome parents and other friends of the school who are willing to help out on a voluntary basis in a variety of ways. If you would like to help out in your child’s classroom just speak to the class teacher to organise a convenient time.
