Welcome to Badger Class.
On this page you will find information about our learning and topics.
We will also be posting pictures of what we have been up to.
Our topic for this half term is 'What was life like in the 1980's?' To start our topic we will be having a 1980's themed disco and party during school hours on Tuesday 13th November. We would love to see the children dressed up in an 80's style - so get your double denim and your crimpers out! During this topic we will be looking at toys and games from the 80's and will be comparing now and then.
We will also be really busy learning about Bonfire Night, Diwali, Remembrance day, Children in Need and of course Christmas and rehearsing for our Nativity. We are also very lucky and on Tuesday 6th November we will be visited by the Wildlife Trust. This will involve learning about our class animal (Badger) and taking part in activities such as minibeast hunts.
Finally, the children will continue to take part in daily phonics, maths and literacy sessions. We will also be continuing with our weekly Drumba sessions and daily physical literacy (BBC Supermovers, Dough Disco and daily mile).
As always thank you for your continued support.
