All children in reception (FS2), year 1 and year 2 in state-funded schools are now entitled to free school meals.
Our school dinners are prepared and cooked by our fantastic kitchen staff, on site in our school kitchen. All of the meat used in Nottinghamshire County Council school meals is provided fresh by local butcher, Mike Maloney. A vegetarian option is also available for those children who require it, just speak to one of the lovely ladies in the office and they will update your child’s information. We can also cater for children with special dietary needs or allergies. We aim to ensure that all children have access to healthy school meals regardless of any special requirements.
All of the Nottinghamshire County Council menus fully comply with food standards on nutrition and portion size. They contain at least two portions of fruit or vegetables per meal and every meal is served with vegetables and/or salad as standard.
Please note the following menu changes with immediate effect:
Week 1 Wednesday - Pasta neopolitan, crusty bread and salad followed by yoghurt.
Week 2 Monday - Dessert now yoghurt
Week 3 Tuesday -Beany mince, Yorkshire pudding and mixed veg followed by fruit salad.
