Remote/ Home learning
In the event of your child self-isolating or being ill, for the first 48 hours please follow the suggested links outlined below for home learning. We do understand if your child is too ill to do on-line learning, so do not worry.
If your child is not at school for 14 days due to bubble closure or self- isolating, then please access your Tapestry account as weekly plans and activities will be sent through there via "Memos".
Below are some links to useful websites and YouTube videos to use for help with home learning if you are isolating at home. We have included links to Read Write Inc. which will support in the teaching of phonics and reading and Oxford Owl website which has lots of reading books you can access from home.
While at home, there are lots of things that you can be helping your child with in order to develop their independence and self-care skills e.g.
Purple Mash and Tapestry
We have recently bought into these 2 wonderful online learning platforms.
You will have had an activation email for your child's Tapestry account already and Purple Mash login details will follow shortly.
On Purple Mash you will find all sorts of exciting games and activities to complete. Your key worker can also set simple '2Do' tasks for you to complete.
Tapestry will be used in the event of Self-isolation or a full class bubble closure. On here you will find the weekly plan of activities set by the Nursery staff as well as fun tasks and activities to complete daily/weekly. We really love to see what your child has been getting up to at home so please do send us photos etc so we can stay in touch and share those "wow" moments.
