Welcome to Year 1!

Dear Parents and Carers,

A very warm welcome to Year 1! We hope you all had a super summer and enjoyed spending lots of time with family and friends. We are so excited to welcome the children back and begin another year full of learning, laughter and new adventures.

This half term, our topic question is:

"Would you want to live in a house made of sweets?"

This exciting topic will inspire our learning through stories, materials and design. We can't wait to hear the children's ideas and discover where their curiosity takes us!

Reading Folders

Please ensure your child brings their reading folder to school everyday.

PE 

No PE kit is required for PE.

Wren Class have PE on Friday.

Robin Class have PE on Wednesday.

Starling Class have PE on Thursday.

Forest School

Wren, Robin and Starling Class have Forest School on Tuesday.

Children will need:

• Wellies
• Waterproof clothing

for Forest School, as we will be outside in all weathers.

We are looking forward to helping every child grow in confidence, develop their independence and discover a love of learning. Together, we will make this year a happy, exciting and successful one for all our children.
