Pupil Premium
What is it?
The pupil premium is funding allocated to schools for the specific purpose of boosting the attainment of pupils from low-income families. Funding is based on children registered for a free school meal and children that have been looked after for more than six months.
Who can access support from the Pupil Premium?
Any child that has claimed free school meals at any point in the last 6 years. Children adopted from care under the Adoption and Children Act and children who have left care under a special Guardianship or a residence order. Children from service families.
