At Radcliffe on Trent Infant and Nursery School, our Pupil Council is made up of 2 representatives from each Key Stage 1 class. The children nominate themselves, do a short presentation to their classmates about why they would make a good pupil council representative, and then their class mates vote on who they want to represent their class.
The Pupil Council meets regularly to discuss and take action on a range of issues relevant to our school, including playtimes and lunchtimes, behaviour and playground redevelopment. The children also share ideas and suggestions for the organisation of fundraising events.
