Welcome to Year 2!

Dear Parents and Carers,

Welcome back to a brand new school year in Year 2! We hope you all had a super summer and enjoyed the sunshine. We are so excited to welcome the children back and can't wait to hear all about their adventures.

This half term, our topic question is:"What can we do with all our rubbish?"

We will be exploring ways to reduce, reuse and recycle, while learning how we can all play a part in looking after our world. 

Reading Folders

Please ensure your child brings their reading folder to school everyday.

PE 

No PE kit is required for PE.

Owl class have PE on Monday afternoon.

Kingfisher Class have PE on Tuesday afternoon

Forest School

Children will need:

• Wellies
• Waterproof clothing

for Forest School, as we will be outside in all weathers.

As a Year 2 team, we believe that children are our future. Teach them well and let them lead the way. Show them all the beauty they possess inside and we look forward to working together to make this a wonderful year filled with learning, laughter and new experiences.
